Monday: Students will prepare to answer questions about the Atlas map pages at the beginning of the book. Review with students how to read a map. Begin an A-Pages Activity. (6.3.1)
Tuesday: Students will finish the Atlas questions and then we will begin planning a trip to place in the United States. (Components will be given in class) (6.3.1)
Wednesday: Students will finish their trip planning and present their itinerary. (6.3.1)
Thursday: Students will take a quiz over map skills. We will then introduce timelines. Students will begin making a timeline of their life. Timelines should include pictures and be colored.
HW: Research world events that correspond with the years you have been living. You need 3 different events for 3 different years you have been living.
Friday: Students will complete their timeline and add the world events to their timeline.
