Wednesday – Introduce, read, and discuss “Hitchhiker,” page 86 – 102, by Lucille Fletcher. Complete a graphic organizer to compare and contrast the 2 plays. Continue discussing the element of suspense. Discuss flashbacks, predictions, idioms, prefixes, similes, inferences, and irony. Grammar – Check homework from last night.
