Choose one of the following projects for your book report:
1. Make a “Wanted Poster” for the main character in your book. Include the following information: (a) a drawing or cut out picture of the character, (b) a physical description of the character, (c) the character’s contributions, talents, and accomplishments (whatever made him/her important enough to be written about), (d) any other important information about the character, and (e) the reward for the capture of the character.
2. Make a cut out of the character in your book. Decorate the front of the figure to resemble the character. On the back, write the following information in paragraph form:
Head – describe the life of the character (childhood to adult life)
Body – describe the character’s contributions, talents, and
accomplishments
Arms and Hands – Explain the lesson that you learned from reading
this book:
He/ She made me realize…
He/ She made me see that…
Legs and Feet – Complete the following statements to explain how
you will relate that lesson to your everyday life:
He/She made me hope that…
He/ She made me believe that…
3. Dress as the main character from your book. Write a 3 – 5 minute report about your character. Be sure to include the important events from the character’s life, his or her accomplishments and contributions, what he or she is doing today (if they are still living), and any other information that you found interesting from your book. You will give an oral presentation from 1st person as if you were the character telling about your life. The written report will also be turned in.
