There will be a quick general meeting in the cafeteria. Then, parents will meet with Team 6B in the GMS Computer lab for more details. You will receive helpful hints, online practice sites, TCAP tips, and ideas of what you can do to ensure that your child does well on the TCAP test. Please read the TCAP page to the right for information on websites that will be helpful during this time.

Monday - Students will be assessed over Troublesome Modifiers, bad, badly, good and well. Complete the Skills Practice Short Story Map on the story, “La Bamba” on page 130 of the Holt Reader with a partner. Sequencing - What Happened When? Activity: Given 10 events from “La Bamba”, students will number events in correct sequence or chronological order and illustrate them for their flipbook. (6.3.4) (6.1.21)

Tuesday – Logic and Enrichment with Mrs. Triplett. Review Reading Skills in the short story of “La Bamba.” (6.1.21)

Wednesday – Listen to “La Bamba” before completing a comprehension test. Review vocabulary words by playing Family Feud in two groups. Continue working on the sequencing book. (6.1.21)

Homework – “La Bamba” spelling and vocabulary test on Friday.

Thursday - THINK LINK TEST – Students will take the 3rd and final THINK LINK TEST for this school year. This test is based on the skills taught through the end of 6th grade, and it will show us what skills we must focus on before the TCAP Test. Individual student scores will be sent home after Spring Break.

Homework – One more day before Spring Break begins!!!!

Friday - Discuss the questions and answers to the THINK LINK TEST. Complete sequencing book of “La Bamba”. Share ideas with the class.
