A parallel timeline is a combination of several timelines to show different events that occurred in two or more different areas. (pgs. 60-61 in social studies book)
Project Description:
You will compose a parallel timeline of your life events as well as key world events occurring the same years that you have been alive. The timeline should be organized on a poster board. You will begin with the year you were born and include every year you have been alive. For example if you were born in 1990, you would begin your timeline in the year 1990 and end in the year 2007. Each year should include a main event in your life and a main event that occurred in the world. You may not use your birthday for every year.
Make sure to research and use your primary sources to help you identify key events both personally and worldwide.
